Welcome, I am Bernd Lippert the creator of HOTELS CUISINE. I am an artist and creative photographer who now lives in Thailand with my family.
I would like to tell you a little bit of my background and how "HOTELS CUISINE" came to be.

I was born in Germany in 1947 and at the age of twelve I enthusiastically received my first camera. By 1969 I was awarded "Federal Winner" in photographic still life category. In 1970 received my Art degree from cologne school of art and design.
My other degree in German Economics I made in unison with my Art degree.

With a knack for business I fashioned a very successful studio employing 15 talented people. With my talent for the arts in hand we confidently forged strong creative relations with many well known brands of the time, such as Becks Beer, Chanel, Miele, Unilever, and successfully serviced clients in many fields of photography, everything from fashion to food. Food photography became a focus for the studio and my forte commercially. Food books, Food packaging, Food advertising, Food styling, everything you can imagine for food and drink was my life and living for many years. Consequently, my experience with everything food, has equipped me with a immense amount of insight, skill, technique and creativity to produce food images, and naturally is still a huge passion for me. No matter if the style ranges from lifestyle to abstract, I never tire of finding new ways to invent, present and create my images.

These days I am my own fully equipped professional traveling studio, engaged in a new food marketing concept "HOTELS CUSINE". Thanks to the advent of new digital technologies I am free from the restraints of unwieldy cameras and electronic flash lights. I can now with my technique product beautiful images from pure daylight, along with the help of a few magic mirrors, and a car full of amazing props.

HOTELS CUISINE is a project whereby I am presently traveling to Hotels throughout Thailand, photographing many top chefs and there favorite gastronomic creations, with the goal of producing an exciting new web concept and range of new books.
